During various times of the year Lake Normans water will rise and fall. There are many shallow spots that are marked, stay away from these areas as they can cause prop damage and sudden stopping of the boat.1. Watch for shoal markers.
2. Cruise mostly away from points and shoreline.
3. Be very respectful of docks on the Lake, Many boats are stored and there is a no wake zone 100 yards from all docks..
